I had a wonderful time, with impeccable service from the tour guides, drivers and the arranged accommodations. It was a seven day trip and I enjoyed every bit of it. Overall, it was well balanced with plenty of sight seeing and activities, with great food and with plenty of down time for me to do my own exploration. They did Vietnam great justice! Le Jun 2023 Hanoi-Ninh Bình-Sapa We are from California and we only had nine days to explore Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Sapa, Hue & Danang including transportation. I am an ambitious traveler who wants see picturesque places and experience the local foods. There’s no way that we could do it ourselves without the help of Custom Asia Travel. Molly was the nicest travel agent I have ever had. We started communicating three months before the trip. I just sent her our flight information and told her which hotels we wanted to stay and places we wanted to visits. Quickly she formulated a detailed tour itinerary customized to our taste. The tour included private car transportation, five star hotels, breakfast and lunch, English speaking tour guide, and airport pick-up/ drop-off. Surprisingly, the cost was not expensive at all. Our tour guide is Callum (Cương) who can communicate fluently in both Vietnamese and English. He went extra miles to make sure we really had a good time. Our flight from Hanoi to Hue was two hours delayed, Custom Asia Travel made an arrangement with the tour guide and the driver to give us a food tour in Hanoi without an extra cost! During the trip, Molly made herself available 24/7 by phone for customer support. We travel the world but this trip was one of the most memorable journeys! I cannot say enough positives about Custom Asia Travel! We visited Vietnam in December/January 2023 and had an amazing trip with our 3 teens. The itinerary exceeded our expectations! We travelled to Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, and Nha Trang. We had no issues with any of our transportation around the country - our drivers and guides were always there on time (early, actually), friendly and helpful. The accommodations were excellent and our guides were fantastic (Tanh, Tanh, and Viet - they were awesome!). Every place we stayed put our rooms right next to each other, often adjoining, and the kids’ room always had two twin beds and a cot, while my husband and I had a king bed. This was perfect as our teenagers did not want to share beds, lol! The activities were super fun and appealed to all of us. So many highlights - the kids loved the rice farm tour (riding the water Buffalo elicited the biggest smile we’ve ever seen from our 16 year old!), seeing the caves in Ninh Binh, the cooking class in Hoi An, and Ha Long Bay. I really appreciated that some of our itinerary was focused on less crowded activities - a couple of the temples we saw were practically empty, allowing us to enjoy and experience these beautiful sites on our own. We did a couple of bike rides which were also highlights, such a great way to explore and see the area! Minh was available and responsive while planning the trip and while we were there. I agree with others reviews about whether she ever sleeps! She was able to coordinate our luggage getting dropped off as it did not arrive with us, and contacted one of the hotels about a ring that had been left, and arranged for us to pick it up. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. We truly had a relaxing and stress free trip because of the excellent customer service from Minh and our guides. With only having 12 days to visit we were so grateful to be able to enjoy the travel and know that Minh and her team were there if and when needed. I highly recommend using this company, you will not regret it! Now I am dreaming of how quickly we can make it back!! Thank you thank you to Minh and the team, our trip was unforgettable! Successivamente, saliremo sulla cima del Monte Phousi per una piacevole esplorazione del sacro stupa dorato, e per una vista panoramica della città al tramonto. Da lì, esploriamo il mercato notturno, dove puoi trovare una deliziosa selezione di tessuti fatti a mano realizzati dalle popolazioni locali e delle tribù delle colline che circondano Luang Prabang. Sulla via del ritorno in città, faremo un breve tragitto in auto fino a Ban Phanom, un villaggio ben noto per i suoi mestieri, i tessuti a mano Ban Xang Khong e Ban Xieng Lek - piccoli villaggi ben noti per la tessitura della seta e la fabbricazione della carta Saa (iuta). Proseguiremo poi verso le bellissime cascate Kuangsy, dove potrete nuotare nelle piscine turchesi o camminare lungo i sentieri della foresta. Luang Prabang- Oudomxay Dopo la colazione, prenderemo il treno espresso per Oudomxay. La provincia di Oudomxay ospita 23 gruppi di minoranze etniche, situati lungo il fiume Nam Beng. All'arrivo, verrai accolto dal nostro staff e trasferito al resort nella giungla Namkat Yolapa. Dopo il check-in in hotel, ci godremo un breve trekking attraverso la giungla fino alla cascata Namkat. Oudomxay- Muang La- Oudomxay Si parte al mattino in direzione Pak Khai; questo piacevole viaggio regala splendide viste sul fiume Nam Pak, sulle risaie terrazzate e sui piccoli villaggi lungo le rive del fiume. Al tuo arrivo, inizierai il tuo trekking lungo un sentiero di montagna e segue un ruscello di montagna che serpeggia attraverso la vegetazione lussureggiante. Hai la possibilità di incontrare gli agricoltori locali che lavorano nelle loro risaie, ed imparare come coltivano le loro terre, cacciano piccola selvaggina e pescano nel ruscello di montagna, prima di entrare nella foresta pluviale tropicale. Dopo circa 1 ora e mezza, si lascia la foresta e si arriva al villaggio di Ban Phavie; un bellissimo villaggio Khamu che si trova sulla cima di una collina. Dopo aver pranzato nel villaggio, prosegui verso alcune cascate vicine. Potrai rilassarti nelle fresche acque limpide, cullato dalla dolce brezza e dalla tranquillità delle cascate (tempo permettendo). We visited Vietnam in December/January 2023 and had an amazing trip with our 3 teens. The itinerary exceeded our expectations! We travelled to Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, and Nha Trang. We had no issues with any of our transportation around the country - our drivers and guides were always there on time (early, actually), friendly and helpful. The accommodations were excellent and our guides were fantastic (Tanh, Tanh, and Viet - they were awesome!). Every place we stayed put our rooms right next to each other, often adjoining, and the kids’ room always had two twin beds and a cot, while my husband and I had a king bed. This was perfect as our teenagers did not want to share beds, lol! The activities were super fun and appealed to all of us. So many highlights - the kids loved the rice farm tour (riding the water Buffalo elicited the biggest smile we’ve ever seen from our 16 year old!), seeing the caves in Ninh Binh, the cooking class in Hoi An, and Ha Long Bay. I really appreciated that some of our itinerary was focused on less crowded activities - a couple of the temples we saw were practically empty, allowing us to enjoy and experience these beautiful sites on our own. We did a couple of bike rides which were also highlights, such a great way to explore and see the area! Minh was available and responsive while planning the trip and while we were there. I agree with others reviews about whether she ever sleeps! She was able to coordinate our luggage getting dropped off as it did not arrive with us, and contacted one of the hotels about a ring that had been left, and arranged for us to pick it up. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. We truly had a relaxing and stress free trip because of the excellent customer service from Minh and our guides. With only having 12 days to visit we were so grateful to be able to enjoy the travel and know that Minh and her team were there if and when needed. We visited Vietnam in December/January 2023 and had an amazing trip with our 3 teens. The itinerary exceeded our expectations! We travelled to Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, and Nha Trang. We had no issues with any of our transportation around the country - our drivers and guides were always there on time (early, actually), friendly and helpful. The accommodations were excellent and our guides were fantastic (Tanh, Tanh, and Viet - they were awesome!). Every place we stayed put our rooms right next to each other, often adjoining, and the kids’ room always had two twin beds and a cot, while my husband and I had a king bed. This was perfect as our teenagers did not want to share beds, lol! The activities were super fun and appealed to all of us. So many highlights - the kids loved the rice farm tour (riding the water Buffalo elicited the biggest smile we’ve ever seen from our 16 year old!), seeing the caves in Ninh Binh, the cooking class in Hoi An, and Ha Long Bay. I really appreciated that some of our itinerary was focused on less crowded activities - a couple of the temples we saw were practically empty, allowing us to enjoy and experience these beautiful sites on our own. We did a couple of bike rides which were also highlights, such a great way to explore and see the area! Minh was available and responsive while planning the trip and while we were there. I agree with others reviews about whether she ever sleeps! She was able to coordinate our luggage getting dropped off as it did not arrive with us, and contacted one of the hotels about a ring that had been left, and arranged for us to pick it up. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. We truly had a relaxing and stress free trip because of the excellent customer service from Minh and our guides. With only having 12 days to visit we were so grateful to be able to enjoy the travel and know that Minh and her team were there if and when needed. The accomodation was high quality, the itinerary was interesting and well paced and everything went really well.
